    A must-have for foodies and Home Cooks. This french butter dish, butter crock is wheel thrown with black stoneware clay then glazed in clear and white glaze.
    It stands  3 1/2" high and will hold a about over 1 stick of butter.
    This pottery stoneware butter keeper will keep your butter fresh and soft on the counter without refrigeration.
     Add water to the bottom of the butter crock. Pack butter into the lid. 
    If you use unsalted butter you should add a little salt to the water. The water creates a seal and keeps the air away from your butter. Change water every few days. This french butter dish will ensure that you always have fresh spreadable butter.
